As a clinical supervisor I aim to work with supervisees using a trauma informed approach. It is important to explore the client and your work with the client(s) through a cultural and biopsychosocial lens. I often use the Seven-eyed model. See video explaining this below. I want to emphasize safety, trustworthiness, choice, connection, collaboration, skill building and self-care.
