What could individual counselling look like with me? First off, the first session would be us getting to know one another to make sure that I am the right fit for you. It takes time to build trust and rapport so it may take us a few sessions for you to open up and that is okay. I will hold space for you to do things at your pace. I will ask you what has brought you to counselling, and if you have any specific concerns you want to focus on? I will want to learn about your culture to make sure that I am respectful of your beliefs and needs. I can offer counselling through phone, text or video. I also do outings, nature walks and home visits on request when I can.

Counselling can be a leap of faith to open up in a way you might have never before and to trust that I will offer the best support I can. It helps to be fully honest with me once we have trust and rapport. Everything remains confidential!
We will attempt to explore your life’s strengths and challenges and I will support you in healing from these struggles and to try to see the light through the cracks.
I hope to help you find joy again!
